Convenient and Easy to Install
Average installation time is about 30 minutes and requires only 1/2” and 9/16” sockets or box end wrenches. Once installed, it is easy to use. Simply fold the back cushion down then lift the entire seat until it latches. To release, lift the lever and lower the seat.

When installed, the Seat Keeper is hardly noticeable and blends well with all interior colors.

This is the only rear seat latch on the market. It fits and works so well that one might think it is a factory latch.

Questions and Answers

Q. Can I adjust my driver’s seat all the way back and still have the rear seat latched in the “up” position?
A. Yes. We have designed the latch to allow the seat to be all the way back simultaneously with the seat back tilted about ¼ of the way back. A six foot tall person can comfortably drive the vehicle while the rear seat is latched.

Q. Does the color match my interior?
A. Yes. All of the factory seat hardware and supports are painted gloss black. Our Seat Keeper blends well sporting a very durable and attractive baked on powder coat gloss black finish.

Q. Where is the latch located when installed?
A. When you open the rear of your Jeep, it is attached to the LEFT seat bracket adjacent to the floor and the wheel well. Once installed, the only part that is visible is the vinyl coated lever used to release the seat (about 2” long).
